BANDUNG'S STREET FOOD GOODNESS

Bandung's street food are some of the best street food I've tried in my life! In fact, everytime i go to Bandung, i couldn't just pass not eating them. Here are some of my recommended places! Be aware of the tempting pictures, you may want to go to Bandung directly after reading this post.
  1. Sop Buah Pak Ewok

Cuts of different fruits like strawberries, mangoes, watermelons, and coconuts served with shaved ice and syrup. With only Rp. 8.000, you can taste this delicious and fresh dessert! Delish!!
    Location: Jalan Cimandiri- Bandung

    2.  Kupat Tahu Gempol

With the very traditional setting, Kupat Tahu Gempol has been one of Bandung's culinary icon. The special tahu and peanut sauce, is what differentiates Kupat Tahu Gempol with other Kupat Tahu. Although Tahu is not my favourite dish, i can finish this alone. That can show how delicious this is. Here, you can also customize your preffered level of spiciness. A portion will cost you Rp. 10.000.
    Location: Pasar Gempol – Bandung

    3.  Pempek Rama

OKAY. YOU NEED TO GO HERE AND TRY THIS PLACE. The pempek here is different than anywhere you will ever try. I think what makes it different is the seasoning and their vinegar sauce. Their Lenggang, is my favorite one to order here. Lenggang is pempek mixed in with egg batter and then fried. You can enjoy this dish for Rp. 24.000.
Location: Jl. Rama no, 28- Bandung

    4. Sate Hadori

Satay, is one of my personal favorite Indonesian cuisine. Here in Sate Hadori, they serve different meat of Satays. From chicken to goat meat. The peanut sauce and the smell of the dish is to dream for! Freshness of the meat is also guaranteed here in Sate Hadori. Prices differ to how many sticks you order.
Location: Jalan Stasiun Timur 11-12- Bandung

    5.  Wedang Ronde Alkateri

Welcome! Would you like large, medium, or small Ronde? Brown sugar or White sugar?” This is the perfect dessert (may i call it one?) you would want to have during cold weathers. I will always order their medium sized Ronde with white sugar. The perfect combination of their sugar, ginger, and the filling inside the dough is what brings me back everytime. A bowl of Ronde will cost you Rp. 13.000.
    Location: Jl. Alkateri- Bandung

1. Motzen Steak and Ale

Motzen is one of the culinary tourist destination that does not only offers delicious food with the concept of western and fusion food, but also has a cool place and landscape. Here, you can find the perfect combination of Bandung's fabulous landscape and the delicious food they serve. There's a cool thing here, is writing in the menu that reads, "Steak and beer should get married. They perfect for each other." Maybe you can PROVE it here. Cool.

Here's one tip: when you visit this restaurant, take your time to look at their rooms. On the walls, there are loads of pictures that explain how to make beer, they even have "A Periodic Table of Beer Styles" which describes the types of beer, its origin, and description its beer flavor

Location: Jl. Bukit Pakar Timur (Dago Atas) NO. 21,
Bandung 14035

 2. Maja House

This year Maja House has been the restaurant popular among Bandung and Jakarta's young adults. This place is cool, has a warm atmosphere, a cold breeze, completes with the delicious foods and beers and accompanied by the music played. 4. The Sugarush

The antique house cum cafe will instantly win your heart with decent macarons . And that is only the beginning of your sweeth tooth adventure – up next is Chocolate-dipped Churros, 9gag-inspired Rainbow Cake, and Red Velvet. Mains are aplenty – nom the House Specialty Baked Rice and Spicy Tuna Pasta served in generous portions. End the gluttony with a pot of Vanilla Rose Tea while enjoying the quirky illustrations on the brick walls.

Time of travel vary, depends on the traffic. If you are lucky, you can just arrive at Bandung with only 2 hours. There are numerous stops in the highway where you can have your meal or take a rest for a while. I will suggest bringing someone with you to make sure you stay awake! The total toll fee will be more or less Rp. 100.000.

BANDUNG'S TOP 5 TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

Hello everyone! Today I am back with my new post. In this post, I am going to recommend you Bandung's top 5 tourist attractions.  I hope this post will be informative and useful. Enjoy!

1. Tangkuban Parahu

Located in the village of Cikole, District Lembang, Bandung District, West Java Province. The distance is 30 km from the city of Bandung. Travel can be reached by car or public transportation. If you leave by private vehicle from the direction of Subang and Lembang, to get to the location via a second entrance, the journey leads to the north of the campground with the distance of about 3 km.

Around the mouth area and Queen Crater Upas crater, there are many stalls and stalls selling a variety of foods, beverages, and typical dishes dent, ie grilled sticky rice. In this area, a lot of street vendors selling a wide variety of children's games, dolls, hats, bags, handicrafts of stone, trinkets (bracelets, rings, weapons typical of the region, scarves), angklung, stone and powder sulfur (skin disease alternative medicine), bonsai plants, and strawberries.

2. Trans Studio Bandung

Trans Studio Bandung is one of the biggest theme parks in the world, located inside Bandung Supermall. With the ticket fee of Rp. 150.000 on weekdays and Rp. 250,000 on weekends, you can enjoy a total of 20 rides and shows. My experience at Trans Studio Bandung was incredible.I barely queud for every rides, the shows were beyond my expectation, there were numerous food stalls and restaurant inside the theme park and the mall itself, which makes the choices of foods numerous. And what i was most pleased with, the staffs were really polite and friendly. Trans Studio Bandung also offers their hotel, Trans Hotel, which is connected to the mall.

3. Saung Angklung Udjo

This traditional musical performance is one of the best way to explore Indonesian culture. It is a 2 hour show of several parts including puppet show, mask dance, Angklung performance and dances with little kids.

4. Mount Patuha and White Crater

The White Craterlake is one of the two craters of Mount Patuha. Standing 2,430 meters above sea level, the air around the lake was brisk and surreal. It was breathtaking to watch the lake change its color from teal blue to pale jade, depending on the temperature and sulphur concentration. The acidity of the lake had painted the sand and rocks around the crater with a white wash, making the whole scene charmingly mysterious.

5. Ciater Hot Spring

The town of Ciater is known for its natural hot springs with their healing qualities which promote physical well being. Here the Ciater Hot-Springs Spa makes the most of nature's rich rehabilitative resources, by pampering its guests in tranquil surroundings, delivering professional care through therapies and treatments that revitalize both the body and mind.
